Hokianga Blue’s last round win over the Wot Wotz gave them the 2 point advantage they needed to get through to the final where they met up with the determined Cooper Whanau. The defensive work of Jo Blakeman-Thomas of forced a draw denying Hokianga Green a chance at the final and FNDC’s earlier draw against draw against Cooper Whanau left them on equal points as Hokianga Green and destined those two teams to meet up in the play off for 3rd & 4th. 3 teams were vying for a spot in the final against Cooper Whanau and favourites Hokianga Green’s chances were knocked by failing to grab a win over Power Puff.
